Founded in 1975, OSA is a coalition of student governments dedicated to the representation, service, and protection of the collective interests of over 100,000 students in postsecondary education.
OSA offers internships for three months over the summer. The focus areas will be Vote, OSCC, NWSLC, and Candidate Visits. Interns are given high levels of responsibility and are able to work one-on-one with professional staff. Interns are paid a stipend for the summer and are asked to work 30-40 hours a week. We are flexible, so please contact us if you have scheduling problems.

OSA is seeking a new Legislative Director to serve as our primary advocate and lobbyist. OSA’s Legislative Director also helps to implement our grassroots campaigns. Applicants should have an understanding of Oregon state government and ability to testify and research. Experience with an organizing and advocacy organization is preferred. OSA is also seeking a Campus Organizer for Lane Community College student government in Eugene, OR. Help win real improvements in student’s lives! Applicants should have an activist background, strong verbal and written communication skills, and an interest in educational and student access issues. Previous experience in student organizing or student government is preferred. Application deadline is May 19th.
