2009 OSCConference

Thanks for Joining Us

February 6-8, 2009 marked the 8th annual Oregon Students of Color Conference which is directed by the Oregon Students of Color Coalition. For the first time the OSCConference was held at a community college, Lane Community College in Eugene. Thanks to all the great sponsors, supporters, presenters, and speakers and LCC staff, students and administration this conference was a great success and an inspiring weekend for students across the Northwest. Thank you to attendees and participants who joined us in Eugene, we hope to see you again next year!

Voter Guides!  Learn about the candidates near your college and be in the know November 4th 2008!

After registering to vote in the thousands this fall it is time to be educated on the candidates near our colleges and the ballot measures that could affect us as students. Each election the Oregon Student Association surveys the candidates in contested races near college campuses.  These candidate surveys accompanied by information on ballot measures and the election creates this non-partisan voter guide for students. Find out what the candidates have to say about the issues we care about.  The election is getting close and we need to be educated on the candidates in our own area codes so check the guide out and cast your ballot by 8pm November 4th.
