We are a statewide coalition of students advocating for equal access to education by empowering students and strengthening communities of color.
Parents As Scholars
In 2003, OSCC helped to pass legislation that would allow ten percent of Temporary Aid for Needy Families (TANF) recipients to use postsecondary education to fulfill work requirements. This legislation will help some welfare recipients to earn a college degree which will offer them and their families greater opportunity.
