Despite all the challenges that arose this session, students pulled off major policy wins and secured historic investments in post-secondary education. This work could not have been made possible without the dedication of students statewide; these budgets and policy victories reflect the contributions and the importance of sustained and intentional student advocacy, organizing, and lobbying.

The Oregon Student Association would like to thank the members of the Oregon Legislature and the Governor’s office for working with the Oregon Student Association this session. Together our elected officials, students, faculty and staff unions, advocate groups, and our coalition partners fought for the collective needs of students across the state of Oregon. We are thrilled with the momentous results of the 2023 Session and look ahead to the next!
