    Joseph grew up in Southern California and moved to Oregon in 2018. He received a BA in International Relations from the University of California, Riverside. Joseph started at OSA as the Oregon Students of Color Coalition Organizer and was appointed interim executive director in 2022. In his free time Joseph is a photographer.

  • Nick Keough

    Legislative Director

    Nick Keough is originally from Roanoke, Texas, and moved to Eugene, Oregon in 2016. Nick attended and graduated from Lane Community College (LCC) in 2019 with an AAOT Transfer Degree. During Nick’s time at LCC, they were involved with Associated Students of Lane Community College (ASLCC) student government – serving in roles such as a student senator and student body president. In 2019, Nick transferred to University of Oregon (UO) where they study Political Science and Planning, Public Policy, and Management. During Nick’s time at UO, they were involved with the Associated Students of the University of Oregon (ASUO) student government – serving as a student senator.

    Nick is deeply passionate about people, the planet, community, equity and justice. They are committed to student advocacy and working to ensure higher education is affordable and accessible for all. Their professional and community-based experience includes policy development, legislative advocacy, coalition building, base building, and group facilitation. In their free time, they enjoy traveling, being outside, cooking vegan food, taking care of their plants, spending time with friends and family, and watching delusional reality television.

  • Skyler Cservak

    Organizing Director

    Skyler grew up between Santa Ana and San Clemente, California, and moved to Eugene, Oregon in 2015 to attend Lane Community College. At LCC, she received an Associate of Science Oregon Transfer degree and went on to pursue her Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies at the University of Oregon. At the end of her time at the UO, Skyler became involved in both local and congressional elections where she had the opportunity to collaborate and connect with organizations and elected officials nationwide. Skyler is now the Eugene Campus Organizer at OSA and loves to find opportunities for students who want to get involved but may need some help getting a start. In her free time, Skyler likes to go surfing on the Oregon Coast, attend anything with music, and watch all things sci-fi
